Not using the rating system anymore Graham. Very subjective and valueless IMHO.
Your image is Top Notch, one of the Best of the Day.

Yes, must say I agree with Ed, I thought the scores were taken into account, if they are not itβs not worth scoring images, POTD for me though.

@rrr , well the scores does count in a sense according to Carlo. The final decision is made by Carlo as to which Image is better. Yesterday I had a better overall score than Jorge, but Carlo thought Jorge's image was a better HDR Image. Which I have no problem with because actually it was. That is why I say the scoring really doesn't matter to me. The better Composition and Processing should Win out always.

Fair enough Ed, for me what makes mn image more than anything is composition, I am by no means an expert on it but I do look at every image I make and try to see how it could be better, I alter the perspective, change angles crop, everything until I think it is the best it can be. For me the process is secondary to how a picture is composed, a well composed image always looks good , a badly composed one, even if processed superbly will not look as good, this though is only my own thought, and as I say I am in no way an authority on this subject.

I love this very interesting perspective (composition), and the subtle colors. Very well done.
