@digicam nice shot Ed. Iβve got to dig up some wildlife shots Iβve done in the past. Itβs hard to get as close to those egrets up here. They spook easily.

@digicam , From Mid Feb.-May is when they nest here. Once they have built their nest and the eggs have been laid you can get within 75-100 feet of them. They are very protective of their nest and eggs.You can tell when they are nesting by the Green Mask between the Bill and the Eye. This is the only time of the year that the Green appears on them. They constantly build and reinforce the nest throughout the mating season.
